Veggies From The Farmers Market                                     June 1, 2013
We grow as much as we can on the farm and everything else is only from farmers markets. Some of our favorite farms are Tutti Frutti, Tamai Family Farms, Underwood Family Farms, Island Farms, Coleman, etc. By visiting markets twice a week we are able to meet other farmers and learn about whats new and fresh this season.

The Open Fire                                                                        April 6, 2013
Cooking outside on an open fire is synonymous with great flavor and great style. The warmth, smell, comfort, and visual stimulation that a fire has to offer just down right makes you feel at home. It also creates a focal point for the dinner where people gather over drinks and good conversation. When people come here to dine we want them to be in a place that makes them feel safe, comfortable, and hungry.

Duck Eggs                                                                         March 27, 2013
The basics of any farm is fresh eggs. With a flock of over 40 ducks and 6 different breeds we maintain a very nice variety of attitude and noises in which each bird has it own characteristics. Not only is having duck eggs a bit out of the norm, they are also extremely healthy for you. They are much more alkaline then chicken, contain more omegas, contain about 9 grams of protein, and drink 10 times more water allowing for cleaner flavors.

Pasta                                                                                 March 15, 2013
Everyone has their favorite thing to make, for me, its pasta. Agnolotti to be exact. It means envelope in Italian and always has some sort of filling that can range from creamy nettles to pheasant confit. It is the perfect vessel for all things good. We always offer a home made pasta that changes with the seasons. We will also be offering classes on this so please click below to inquire.

Breaking Bread                                                                   March 2, 2013
Fresh baked bread is a staple at dinner and here on the farm breaking it together is how we start every single meal. When in season we forage for wild buckwheat and incorporate it into our recipe leaving a flavor and nutritional component that tastes so good.

The Farmer And The Chef                                           February 13, 2013
